Perfect for: Satisfying your European cuisine cravings
When it comes to cafes, it’s always the more the merrier. Adding to our ever-extending list of cafes in Singapore is Bana Bana Cafe, a new Muslim-owned eatery located within Kampong Glam along North Bridge Road.
Instead of serving your regular coffee and cakes, Bana Bana Cafe aims to elevate your dining experience with an array of specially curated European-style comfort food with the cafe’s very own Bana twist.
Whilst basking in the warm and homely environment, savour the cafe’s all-day breakfast with their Grilled Sandwich (S$8.80) or French Toast With Maple Syrup (S$4.80). Otherwise, their list of fancy baked goods such as a rich slice of Quiche (S$7) or the flavourful Shepherds Pie (from S$4.80) will also tickle your fancy.
For those of you who are looking for more than just a mid-day bite, Bana Bana Cafe also allows you to customise your very own Bana Bowl (from S$7.50). As with most grain bowls, you can choose from four proteins and one vegetarian option here at Bana Bana Cafe.
Thereafter, add a base and sautee sauce of your choice to create a Bana Bowl of your liking. These grain bowls make for a guilt-free and healthy option perfect at any time of day.
Also available in the eatery are their selection of baked pastries freshly prepared out of the oven on a daily basis. Here, the choices include cinnamon rolls, croissants, pain au chocolat and danishes. Be sure to check what is on display every time you visit as they are all great breakfast and tea-time options.
Just the looks of their pastries alone have me salivating in front of my screen whilst typing this. If you are a lover of these freshly baked golden-brown treats, be sure to pop by Bana Bana Cafe to check them out for yourself!
