The Halal Corner: Build your own dish only at Yishun outlet

Perfect for: Being your own chef

New year, new makan places to check out, especially with the opening of The Halal Corner‘s latest outlet in Yishun!

Formerly known as Asyraf’s Halal Corner when it was operating from Shenton Way, the business has since rebranded to its current name and moved to Bedok in early 2020. The Yishun outlet is its second outlet.

DIY meals at the new outlet

Whilst most of the fan favourites, or THC All Stars as they are called, are available in the Yishun menu, customers are also able to build their own meal exclusively here.

The 3-step process includes choosing a base of pasta or rice, one main ingredient, and additional top-up ingredients.

How does Samyang Pasta + Sliced Beef Steak + Cheese sound? Or perhaps Lemak Chilli Padi Pasta + Chicken Chop + Egg is more your jam? The combinations are endless!

Here’s the full menu for reference:

If you’re already feeling hyped about all the good news, here’s a look at some of the other dishes The Halal Corner has to offer to whet your appetite.

Here’s the Carbonara Beef Steak Mr John (S$6.50) (left) and the Cheesy Balado Beef Steak Pasta (S$6.50) (right).

Love all things Korean? This Korean Chicken Burger (S$5.50) is food for the Seoul.

Their Mac & Cheese Shihlin Chicken Burger (S$6) comes loaded with a generous portion of mac & cheese atop succulent boneless chicken.
