If you’re looking for some affordable Western fare in a casual dining setting that isn’t a food court, then you might want to give XW Western Grill a try.

The restaurant chain with three outlets in JEM, Lot One and Raffles City recently received MUIS halal certification, and just in time for Ramadan too.

All things grilled

As its name suggests, XW Western Grill offers a line-up of smoky favourites such as steaks, chicken and fish.

The mains come with a choice of two sides, which include items such as sweet potato fries, corn on the cob, mac & cheese, and more.

Here are some of the Mains on the menu:

Prime Sirloin 200g cut (S$17)

Sirloin Steak & Prawn (S$28)

Chargrilled Salmon Steak (S$18.50)

To keep prices even more affordable, the eatery also does not have service charge. That said, don’t expect it to be a fine dining restaurant ah. Manage your expectations.

Despite that, diners are given a cup of popcorn while they wait for their orders to arrive.

Modern, hip interior

Food aside, XW Western Grill’s environs is actually pretty easy on the eyes too. With a predominantly yellow and black colour palette, the decor seems like a nod to New York taxicabs.

The abstract wall art also further cements the eatery’s casual dining status.
